A Simple Lesson from Suddenly-s
HELLO everybody!today was my 2nd day of school and i'm slowly getting back into the school mood. just that my classes are mostly from 3:30pm to 6:45pm...which means reaching home when everything's all dark! Now, that's something i'm still trying to get used to.
well anyway, i just want to share about how my schedule and plans this week got really messed up because many "suddenly-s" happened.
Suddenly I have a group meeting after school - which forced me to cancel tuition (i give English tuition to a China girl).
Suddenly I have an extra lesson (because 2nd Jan was a holiday. grrr) on SATURDAY from 3:30 - 6:45pm. *sob* can't go for YAS anymore...
I don't really like "suddenly-s"... do you? well, it got me irritated at first cos it messed up my plans. BUT, i stopped to reflect and prayed about it... and decided there was really nothing I could do and so i surrendered it all to God. Surrendered my time, my plans and my schedule to Him. Then later on.... I realised that God allowed MY schedule to get messed up. So that I would stop relying on myself and come to a place of surrender and yielding to Him. It's not what I want... but what He wants. Everything happens for a reason eh?
God reminded me that when things are in my hands, they are so limited. But when I choose to surrender it to Him and place it in HIS hands... He will bless and He will multiply.
