Yep - moved into my
new office in PL finally. :-)
Still a bit dusty around here... and air VERY dry... reminded that I should drink. And yes drink.
As you can tell from the pic - the desk isn't exactly bigger... so yups - I have to slim down some more.... :p
But I just thank God I have a personal space here finally - no need to bring things (like guit, jackets etc..) back and forth....yeah!

Hey peeps! Sister Yvette was my bus buddy todae... and as we spoke.. God revealed many interesting things... but lets take a flash back to when you used to get toys as a child...
What would your 1st reaction be? Sit there and stare at it? Display it on a high self?!? NOOO!!! Well I believe that most normal kids would take they toy out of the box and test it out! Be it the toy car or the cabbage patch babies.. you either check for the wheels or check for the blinking of the doll's eyes... haha... i mean... you made sure it fulfilled it's purpose rite? I not... you'ld get mummy to send it back to the toy maker and FIX IT UP!
You see... sis yvette was telling me about how sad it was to see the parrots in the zoo. They were only good for taking photos. Other than that, they were kept in their cages ALL DAY LONG... hence their wings couldn't develop, so they couldn't fly!!!
But... as birds...(everyone ignores the chicken for now)...it's made to fly! What a waste...
So... look at yourself and the people around you... the devil has tried all means to keep us in a cage... putting lies in our brains such as, "I'm contented just being a normal christian... status quo". I mean... God already said He came to set the captives free! Now that you have recieved Christ, the door to freedom has been opened to you. Don't just sit there and remain comfortable! You weren't made for that!!! And if you feel that you're already beyond repair... that's where our maker comes in... we get sent back to be REMOULDED!
Yeah... basically, we were made with a purpose! To soar! Don't allow the destractions of the world to limit you to the parrot's cage...

beyond the numbers
Just got off the phone with an FTV who received salvation during Inside Out. Initially, I was only assigned to follow up on her younger sister. This FTV got my number from her sister and smsed me, asking if she could join my group for FUEL and service this sunday with her sister. Wow! People are actually wanting to come to church on their own, without us even asking!
I thank God for adding to our numbers ever since the start of this year. But are we only going to see a "paper increase", as our attendance increase only in statistics, but nothing happens after our FTVs' first visit? What about the salvations- how successfully do new Christians assimilate into the church? Are they being constantly connected to this community so that they can grow in God? Bringing a friend to Christ isn't a one-off thing. Our job isn't done once they say the sinners' prayer.
After all, we're called to make disciples, not converts.
So if you've brought a friend(s) recently, keep inviting them back so that they'll will really join this big family for good. Let's not allow any soul to slip away unnoticed back into the grasp of the enemy.
The harvest is ready.

It's amazing... how we prayed for her to pass.... this round - she did perfect in the circuit... but when she came out to the roads - suddenly there were many fire engines zooming pass her! She panic-ed...and almost scraped them...the tester was like furious... and she thought she was going to flunk... when she called me she was like crying and I was like...oh no... then she said "But I passed!" - naughty! :-\
I told her I prayed specifically for the road conditions... and I believe God actually sent the fire engines! Somehow - the tester was a lot more gracious... and passed her!
Sometimes - just when you think things are really not going your way.... take heart, and enjoy the fire engines. :-)

Have you ever walked somewhere and felt like you didn't want to leave because the sights, sounds, smells, everything, was just so wonderful? (well actually, you know what? IGNYTE SERVICES & FUEL are 2 of those places!!! :D haha...ok maybe not the smells...except the smell of God's sweet presence tt is...haha...)
Yeah ok, so one particular day at the zoo, the weather was gorgeous. WOW. I don't know if you can describe weather and scenery with this word but it's the closest to what I felt it to be - it was delicious. I tried to capture a photo of the scenery for ya'll, but camera phone does no justice at all to the beauty of what God's own hands have created. Man, if His creation is already so beautiful, I can't even begin to imagine how beautiful HE is. wow...may I NEVER EVER EVER lose tt sense of wonder at who You are N what You have done!!
To be honest, not everything is rosy at my workplace. N over the wks I've been feeling like there are so many people all around me, having so many expectations of me, N i just feel so insecure, inadequate or just afraid of the so many eyes watching me and waiting to catch me doing something incorrect... Yeah... I'm sure many of you have felt that way b4, whether it's in sch, at work, sometimes even in ministry.
But a beautiful thought came to me last night as I stayed up despite being real tired to just be refreshed in God's presence (I've come to realise the priviledge of being able to spend time alone w God!)...of all the eyes that are watching me, the MOST important pair belongs to HIM!! N He looks at me not with criticism, judgementalism or condemnation, but He looks on me with LOVE and GRACE, N in DELIGHT. Praise God! :) N I was really ministered to by the song "soak me in Your glory" as well as by Psalm 27 - "The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?...Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple." (v. 1-4) Above all, we just need God, and what God thinks of you is all that matters. N He loves you above all He has created. Like totally. From the INSIDE OUT :) (YAAAYyyyy.....! inside out is in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!! Press on people!!)

God's been speaking to me as I prepare for the V-day message - I'm excited! Yet I'm praying the people that needs to hear the message
will be THERE!
The comm, cast, crew - everyone has been working very hard - we have all prayed - let's take these last few days to invite and persuade our friends... it's gonna take hard work... it's gonna be moving out of our comfort zone - but let's do whatever we can to
PULL them out of the 'TRASH'!

God speaks Loudly... We just need to try and hear
Heys everyone! Yeps I've got more stuff to share...
You know... of late God has been reteaching my all my basics of Christianity.
The hardest lesson was learning to hear His voice all over again.
God wanted to teach me to be STILL this year...
Knowing me... I hate the silence.... so telling me to be still is a challenge in itself.
Ok... so I tried a little stillness... but God still wasn't speaking!!! like... ARGH! yeah I was frustrated and i thought maybe God didn't want to speak to me anymore...( in actual fact... even in my so called stillness, I wasn't very still)
Then I read acts 1, about how the disciples had to wait upon the Lord for Days on end in the upper room without even knowing when the Holy Spirit would come. But as jesus said in Acts 1:7 "It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority". After reading that... I resolved within myself that God would speak only when he knew the time was right.
Haha... and guess what? He used Vday to speak to me =D
I was praying for vday and somehow I remembered a verse that I felt spoke the very heart of our event. and I wanted it to be printed on our Door gift. But i didn't have the chance to speak to PDA about it. So when i heard our stuff had already gone for printing... my heart sank... Until...PDA walked in and INFORMED us... he had added in a verse to our door gift. And... I'm guessing you would have guessed it... it was exactly the same verse! Whao Whao Whao... At that moment I froze in AWE.
Technically God "resurrected 2 birds with one verse"
1) Haha... the Verse still ended up printed... and
2) He showed me I could never go deaf to His voice
Haha... it was so amusingly funny... but still it blew me away... haha I'll Drop by again the next time God speaks... =D Take Care and may God be so real to you as He always has been and will be to me!

What will you do when faced with intimidation? I have this thought after facing one. You know what I did?I went straight to my boss and told her what happened. erm... my earthly boss - boss at work. I was so afraid that I did something wrong that when she receives the complain letter, I'll be asked to face the wall for the rest of the working days (that’s how I got punished when I was young) Wanna know what happened? Cut the story short, I kinda angered one of my clients - cos I wasn’t giving him what he wants- cos I couldn’t give him what he wants. He said he's going to complain about me. Oh dear. But anyways, what will you do when faced with intimidation? I went to my boss.... She's everything I hope I can be.. Calm... kind... angelic.. objective... cool... calm again... Haiz How about turning to our big BOSS in heaven am sure He can help me when i face intimidation? Anyways.. moving on... Who's that fella?
Wanna introduce my dear colleagues, they are a great bunch of people! They have to be, I see them almost everyday.. bleah.. heh! Make me so part of the family in my company. Will miss you guys so much when I leave the place.... boo hoo..
