King of Majesty in KOREA!

Yes... Jesus is everywhere... and I felt such a strong presence tonight in this korean church. When I saw the young people jumping...I almost cried... they were leading the whole adult congregation in their declaration of their Love for God... it was the rising of a GENERATION...

Hope you are inspired by this clip!

smile and be thankful

within my strength alone i could not exist without You
my future would be gone if there were no You
i am happy to confess my dependence on Your mercy
i know that i am blessed because my life's in You
-
You are the love that fills my heart with music in my soul
You are the source of every dream and every hope
You are the longing deep inside that leads me to Your heart
You are the joy of my all, thats who You are
-
Today Jesus remeinded me again of the value and need to be thankful
as i reflected upon my life...
i am only grateful and thankful for all these storms that has lead me closer to God
i am thankful for my family,
being dysfunctional only allows room for more of God and His love
i am thankful for the nice weather and breeze that God has made for me
i am thankful for every opportunity i have to serve God and my friends
i am thankful that Jesus is my joy and His joy is my strength
i am thankful that God's perfect love drives out all fear
i am thankful that in every season i have a song of praise on my lips to carry me through
i am thankful that Jesus knew me before i was formed and He has a plan for me
-
Friends what are you thankful for today?
perhaps we should stop looking at what we lack or are going through,
Instead,
Focus your eyes again on Jesus with thanksgiving in the midst of all that you are going through
-
:Try this out, start your day thanking God and you'll realise just how bless you really are!
Be thankful
-
much love:

Souls in Seoul

Ann-yong-ha-say-yo!

It's been powerful ministry since we arrived on Monday - the hunger for God, the teachable spirit of the 70 over pastors here -it's been humbling.

I'm not sure if who's more blessed - but all I can say is that they have deposited much in my life - and I will carry that hunger for the nations back with me...Do continue to pray as we continue to minister non-stop still thur, then we fly to Taiwan. Will update again!

Your Co-labourer in Christ,

what do you see?

There was this time during which I was asking God how I could pray for IGNYTE, and God led me to this passage:

Genesis 13:14-18
"The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him,
"Lift up your eyes from where you are and
look north and south, east and west.
All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you."

So Abram moved his tents and went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the LORD."

In esssence, God was showing Abraham (then called Abram) his inheritance, and I bet it took Abraham's breath away to ponder on how the whole expanse of land he could see and even beyond that would be made his. Put yourself in Abraham's shoes: it's beyond imagination to think about how your offspring will be uncountable like the dust of the earth, when at that point in time, you have no children at all. It's unbelievable!

Likewise, God is asking us to lift up our eyes to the horizon, and to begin to dream BIG, to imagine what He can do in our lives. Lands that we will conquer through Him, breakthroughs and victories in the subsequent battles which we will fight. We can either choose to dismiss it all as a dream- impossible to achieve like a castle in the sky- or act in faith, like Abraham did when he moved his tents, and go forth towards the Promise Land of God's abundance in our lives.

When God promises us the impossible, it's easy to lose faith because we can't imagine how it can happen. It may be restoring your broken family (if your parents are perpetually arguing, you may wonder how exactly is reconciliation going to happen), salvation for a loved one who's tough nut to crack, or a major miracle in dire circumstances. But we forget that God can do exceedingly more than we can ever imagine; impossible is His middle name! (:

Let's cherish the visions that God may have promised us a long time ago or will give us in time to come, and if they seem to be fading already, ask God to refresh them and to renew your faith.

If we can see it, we can believe it. And as a ministry, I believe God is calling us to survey the land He will give us (in a figurative sense)- the neighbourhood around PL, our schools, our generation. These are the "lands" that we will conquer in His name.

Can you see or imagine...

breakthrough after breakthrough in your personal life and living a life of abundance (i.e. not just merely surviving day to day) that God has purposed for you?
people getting saved in your school EVERY DAY?

more young people joining IGNYTE EACH WEEK?

life-changing encounters every service?

the summit bursting at the seams such that we have to move to another venue? (yay!)

It all starts with us LOOKING, envisioning, believing, and then acting in faith, just like what Abraham did. It won't do us any good to just sit there and wait for things to happen. We sow in faith as steadfast stewards (and that includes praying!) and when the time comes, we'll see God's promises come into fruition. Now isn't that EXCITING? (:

IGNYTE is definitely shifting to a higher gear and God's bringing us further than we've ever gone before. Nowadays I find myself seeing so many unfamiliar faces (especially when I go for Z2 FUEL/cell) but that's a good thing because it means that we're growing! I'm definitely psyched in anticipation of what is to come. Like PDa said, let's look forward, beyond the next summit even and charge ahead for we know that the Lord has great things in store for us!

in His love and mine,

BEYOND the SUMMIT

I guess it's not everyday you wake up to a view like this:

I woke up on the first morn I'm in Genting with my family - and I thought I was still dreaming. I pulled open the hotel curtain... It was kinda surreal... and I found myself stuck in between two layers of cloud... and the sun shining through the first layer hitting the second layer golden. Yeah - I savoured every moment of it...as the sun rose...the rays 'scanned' through the lower layer of clouds....'nuff said.

Video of Moving Clouds Just outside my Hotel Window

Second morn what a GREAT reminder to the message I preached last sunday... indeed there are so many summits to conquer - we shouldn't just stay put in one.... Let's go BEYOND the SUMMIT!

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show
that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

Do you trust me?

Ok, ok, Sis Yvette has a confession to make (*gasp*)
She can't cycle.
Haha so anyway at the leaders' playday on sunday (woohoo!), man it was fun, I decided to take a DOUBLE BIKE with Sis Jane. I must admit I was rather nervous and like OH NO I can't believe I'm gonna put my life in Sis Jane's hands!! Hahaha...
N while walking to the bike rental Sis Jane kept asking me:
"DO YOU TRUST ME?"
I said I did but I was still quite nervous! I got even more nervous when we first hopped onto the double bike. Becos we couldn't seem to balance on it! First Sis Jane hadn't cycled in a while, second she had never cycled with another person on the same bike, thirdly I had never cycled in my life. Woohoo, we're in for an adventure.
BUT thankfully we soon managed to balance and off we flew. First few minutes I was like AAAHHHH SLOW DOWN!!, N Sis Jane gave me a few heart attacks along the way. But as we went on, I began to put more trust in her, stopped gripping the handle bars so tightly, and began to REALLY enjoy the ride! :)
Well God spoke to me that night during my TAWG - firstly it made me realise how immensely blessed I am to be in GOD's family! I love the way we can pray for and with each other, grow together in knowing God while knowing each other. After the bike ride I said (and sincerely felt and meant it!), "now I trust Jane completely!"
(Yes, Papakaf, I do trust u too k!)
Second thing was that I gotta hop on that double bike that God's riding on and trust my life completely in His hands! I didn't know where Sis Jane was heading (she brought me to see the sandcastles, windsurfing ppl, and one of the jetties), but I just had to pedal and follow her anyway! Cos I DEPENDED on her (I was stuck with her after all!). N I TRUSTED her. Same goes with our walk with God. Let Him take you on the ride of your life! :) Enjoy. WHeeeee!
More photos are out! Enjoy.
