the fruit of obedience
Wow it has been more than a year since we've multiplied into two IGNYTE districts at both
Trinity@Adam and
Trinity@PL. I still remember last year, exactly around this time, I was honestly feeling kind of
lost and
disoriented due to the multiplication because most of my close friends were all at IGNYTE,
Trinity@Adam. I knew in my heart that it was God's plan for the ministry and though I accepted it and tried to believe that things will work out, I recall that the first month was the hardest as I had to adjust to a new section while missing my friends really really badly. (Hey leaders aren't immune to changes and transitions you know- we feel it like you do! :))
But you know what, looking back, I can't thank God enough for how He has blessed me in my friendships. Strangely, ever since the multiplication, I've grown so much closer to two of my good friends at
Trinity@Adam! Although we didn't see each other in church any more, we spent more time together- shopping, watching movies, hanging out etc- than we ever did before in 2007. Time has proven the substance of our friendship and I believe one's friendship with others goes beyond just seeing each other in church! (:

God also blessed me with not-so-new-but-we-grew-closer friends I found at Trinity@PL with whom I could share, pray and do silly things together! Ahaha.

At the start of last year, admittedly, I was slightly skeptical as to whether we can really grow that much because we were half the strength of the original population. But despite the uncertainty and initial pain of being separated from my friends, God has rewarded my obedience to the multiplication not just with wonderful friendships but also the chance to witness phenomenal growth in the ministry. It's amazing how both the IGNYTE ministries of Trinity@Adam and Trinity@PL have grown since the multiplication and I believe that it's the fruit of obedience. And within just the first 3 weeks of launching a new Saturday service this year, we have had so many FTVs come in through the services on both days!
Is that AWESOME or what? I don't know about you, but I'm so excited to see more growth in the days to come with two services each weekend and many more empty seats to fill in the LT! (: When we all put our hands to the plow and are gripped by the vision of a great harvest coming in, I believe we'll have an EXPLOSION of growth beyond our imagination!
looking forward to another great year ahead in the Lord,
Sis. Mich Lee
