i was walking to the bus stop this morning...

haha.
i almost laughed out loud when i read p.Da's blog entry.

.. cos God grabbed my attention this morning too.
Even though i was sprinting for the bus this morning in my 2 inch high heels- i felt God stop me while i was running up the overhead bridge.
and in a quiet whisper he told me: Wait just a moment. Enjoy the sunrise i made for you. take a deep breath and look at my creation.

I glanced up but didn't slow my pace- the sunrise was beautiful, but inside i was telling God: i'm looking but i can't slow down... i'm already running late!!! i'll miss my bus if i haven't missed it already!
then i felt Him speak to my heart again: Wait for just a moment. Enjoy the sunrise i made for you.. everything will be alright.

Suddenly i felt a peace overwhelm my heart.. and i slowed down. in that moment, i didn't care about missing the bus or being late.. i just took a deep breath and marveled the sunrise... and in that moment, i felt God's love for me.

then i was up and running again- but this time with the joy of the Lord upon my heart. as i went down the stairs of the overhead bridge, i saw my bus pull up at the bus stop.. On God's perfect timing.

God's so amazing. (:

Love,

Sis Cherie (:

Was LOST...but now am FOUND.

I meant it when I mentioned over the pulpit last night that I am so PROUD of all of you that made it happened. The fruits of your labour indeed has not been in vain. And I'm sure there will continue to be ripples of effect that will impact this generation. Well done guys.

Lost and (un)FOUND?

hey Ignyte Ministry! Are all of you absolutely elated that (un)Found is SOOO close? It begins in less than 24 hours, and all of us who are involved in it are looking forward to the work that God is going to do tomorrow! We certainly hope the rest of you are just as excited and have done all you can to make sure that your friends turn up. They are the reason why this musical has been so tediously and thoroughly put together.

Just to update everyone a little on what has been going on, we have had rehearsals nearly every day this week. In fact, we just had a full-dress rehearsal on Thursday. Ever since our first meeting together as a whole cast, there has been a lot of polishing of the actors and actresses. They have been doing such a great job! Our wonderful stage crew, the ones who emerge only when all the lights go out and are rarely noticed by the audience (maybe only heard), have not been working any less hard on creating props and setting up the scenes. How can I miss out the people who let the actors and singers be heard loud and clear? The tech team has had a mind-blowing time getting all the sound dynamics right for a production that is on such a massive scale.

Yet, to simply be satisfied with where we are and to bring our friends to come see a show with an attractive plot, cool music and happening people, is far from enough. It is far from what our God has called us to do. His Word clearly tells us in Psalm 127:1 that “unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain.” God had spoken to me during the time of worship and prayer, before one of the rehearsals, that I must acknowledge that He is the centre of our focus for this entire production. Even in the midst of all the preparation and practices and perfecting it all, I need to constantly surrender my part in this event back into His secure hands. Unless I allow Him to use me as His tool to give form and shape to the story, unless He oversees it, unless I choose to let Him guard my heart from the attacks of the enemy, it will be very hard for anyone to be impacted by my part in the production.

Jeremiah 50:6 says “My people have been lost sheep; their shepherds have led them astray and caused them to roam on the mountains. They wandered over mountain and hill and forgot their own resting place.” People, our friends out there are hopelessly lost in the things of this world and in life. They are searching aimlessly for love, security, significance and acceptance. What they need is for someone to come along and reveal to them the unconditional love of God. Get them down for this event that will bring them back into the arms of our Father, so that they no longer need to wander around lost, but they can finally be (un)Found in Him.

Moulding and Growing in God

It is just one day before (un)Found and I am excited to see God mighty work to be done on all the oikos tomorrow.. Being involved in this production as a tech crew I felt that this is one of the biggest production Ignyte ministry have had. I also felt that God is going use this production to reach and touch different lives. All the cast, crew, comm, tech have been working very hard for this. Therefore I hope you Ignyte youth will go ALL out to invite your friends and believe God work will be upon them.

As for me being involved in this production I felt that God had been moulding me in a few aspects and giving greater responsibility in different things. One example is that I was asked to plan the layout of the microphone arrangement of the different cast!! Although in this period of time I am quite busy preparing for my final exam that start tomorrow, being involve in the production and being stretch in my daily walk, I know God was and is always with me. And also I have been keeping my faith and trusting God, as I have taken up the responsibility to be involved in (un)Found, that He will be there with me as I prepare for my exam and going for rehearsals.

So as I end of here I pray that although it is just one day left, you guys out there will go all out to invite your friends and allow God work to began in them….

A season of growth and trusting in Him...

These past few months have been really hectic! Rehearsals, planning, meetings..Etc.. Really wanna encourage u guys to invite your friends.. This will be the sort of musical that Ignyte has never seen.. The cast and comm gas really put in a lot of energy and effort into it.. N last but not least, this is really a season when many many more will come into His kingdom.

I pray that God will deposit a seed of passion and zeal to care and connect to the lost.. (un)Found will not be successful without YOU!!

For me, this has been a phase of really trusting in God.. Trusting in Him that everything will fall into place, trusting Him tt i will be able to cope with school worj, trusting in Him that He will be there with me when i am physically drained, there to refresh me. And much much more... I was reminded by God when i was really worried..

He showed me this message, Luke 12:22-34 Indeed he is our Jehovah Jireh.. Our Provider,it just takes him to flick his finger and everything will fall in place.. Please also really pray for those involved, we are all in war! The enemy has been striking hard. Many have been falling sick, getting into accidents.. but no matter how hard the enemy tries to damage (un)Found, the victory is ours!! And if the enemy is whacking us this hard, we are DEFINITELY on the right track!

Lets all trust in the Lord together to soften our friends heart even before we speak to them ya? The time is NOW, lets wait no longer, INVITE!! =)

With Love,
Sarah Yang

Eye opening.

Today has been really EXCITING being in the Tech run. I've never knew that the lightings and sounds (loudness and all) are that difficult to be set up properly~~!! As the tech and crew moves the stuffs about with the "stand in" actors/actresses, it is really amazing how things just fall into place.

On top of these, i've invited my best friend over for (un)FOUND and she had agreed to come WITHOUT hesitation!! Praise God for this successful invitation!! I can really feel that God is really moving in this event and am anticipating for lots and lots of unseen good stuffs that will come by!!

Press on people and all look forward His mighty works on 16th Feb, lets all be unfound in Him~~

Can u feel the EXCITEMENT?!

And yet another (un)FOUND weekday rehearsal has ended. A tiring but awesomely fun weekday rehearsal. It's down to the LAST week before the actual day when the event takes place and things have been pretty hectic behind the scenes. Run throughs and re-run throughs take up most of our rehearsal time, with the cast getting short breaks in between scene changes. Gel, prayer and worship add little changes to the otherwise usual routine of rehearsals, making it so super FUN!!

However, with (un)FOUND being the FIRST Ignyte musical drama, the cast gets a chance to move about and exercise too- by Dancing! And I can assure you, the dance numbers are greeeaaaattttt. So are the songs, which are penned by our very own IGNYTE Folks - e.g. Sis Jas Choe!

Even at rehearsals, I can feel the excitement and hype of (un)FOUND, what more the energy level on that day itself?

WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? INVITE YOUR FRIENDS NOW!

In His love and mine,
Huirou/ Rooroo (:

FOUR.

It's only FOUR more days to... (un)FOUND! :D :D Have you guys invited all the friends you can invite? Because you definitely wouldn't want your friends to miss out on this amazing event mannnn. This is something different from our past events – it’s our VERY FIRST MUSICAL DUDES! *CLAP CLAP CLAP* all glory be to God!

For me, it’s really been a very interesting experience working on a musical. I didn’t expect it to be so tough having to act and sing! Yeah it’s really an entirely new experience, I’ll admit I find it really tough having to act especially (like hellooo I have stage fright!!) /: But each time I feel like giving up I keep reminding myself that this is all for God. So yep I’ll try my best not to faint on stage on the actual day (-:

And yesss... the event committee has put slogging their guts out planning this event (check out their eyebags...) , the cast and crew have been meeting for countless rehearsals and some have even fallen ill... But really. This event would be nothing without each and every one of you guys – IGNYTE. I really hope that each and every one of you will begin to take ownership of this event, because at the end of the day everything that we’ve prepared is for YOUR ministry, for YOUR oikos and the glory of YOUR God. Without you, this event would be nothing. So keep inviting, praying and believing for a breakthrough from God, Amen? God’s gonna do something really AWESOME with this event. WHOOHOO!

(un)FOUND 3-Day 1-Meal Fast

Hey mighty warriors!

We're fasting 1 meal each day for 3 consecutive days (just pick any 3 days) as a ministry to pray for (un)FOUND and the great harvest that we believe will pour in.

In case you missed service because of visiting or accidentally misplaced your prayer booklet, here are the prayer pointers for your reference. Remember, these are just guidelines- feel free to pray and intercede as the Holy Spirit leads!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 1: Pray for Ourselves

  • Read 2 Chronicles 7:14
  • Ask God to burden our hearts for our friends, including those who may seem unlovable, that we may see them through His eyes
  • Ask God to reveal to us the felt needs of our oikos that we may care for and connect with them
  • Pray that we will become vessels of God’s love through every care act that we do
  • Ask for wisdom from the Holy Spirit in reaching out to our oikos (1 Cor. 2:4)

Day 2: Pray for Our Oikos

  • Read 2 Corinthians 4:4
  • Pray against obstacles that may prevent our oikos from coming
  • Ask God to prepare the hearts of the FTVs who will come so that they will be ready to receive His word
  • Pray for the love and power of God to be revealed in a special way to every person
  • Come against any spiritual obstacles that will hinder our friends from salvation (e.g. lies of the enemy, previous hurts/ disappointments etc)

Day 3: Pray for Our Ministry

  • Read Acts 5:38-39
  • Claim a bountiful harvest of souls for God’s kingdom
  • Pray for divine protection for the cast, crew, comm., Pastor Darick and everyone else involved in the production and good health,
  • God’s hand to be upon every aspect of the production (smooth progression of scenes, no technical problems etc),
  • Holy Spirit’s anointing and wisdom for Pastor Darick,
  • That everyone present at un(FOUND) will be touched by God and be inspired to go a level higher in building His kingdom

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
(Ephesians 6:12)

Even as we fast, let the physical hunger reflect our spiritual hunger for God's love and power to breakthrough in the lives of our friends through (un)FOUND. Remember, YOU make the difference!

praying and believing with you,
Mich Lee

Be (un)FOUND in God

Yep this Valentine's Day, IGNYTE ministry is breaking new ground for the Lord yet AGAIN! Woohoo. Our very own musical! You got that right. All the songs are our very own, God being our number one source of inspiration. Woohoo. So to all you budding songwriters out there, you know the One to ask (: Remember - all for His glory.

I think working on this event, the most amazing thing I've experienced is seeing things come together by the hand of God. With the 70-strong team we have (band, cast and crew), it's only God who could bring the hearts together as one, raring to go for God. I'm sure different ones of you have seen the publicity that we've had, with the hockey boys walking around and all. But yes, it's all going to be really exciting.. Think about all the lives, even more than the 40 cast members, that are going to be changed forever!

Believe in the GREATER things, Ignyte! I do. (: Even as this team has laid down their dreams, believing in what God can do, YOU too must believe!
