Yalooooo!(:2 weeks ago at 06.07.08,HMPG, we celebrated the 3 years of Ignyte Ministry! How cool? With the help of the Holy Spirit, 65 ftvs were invited, 21 gave their life to Jesus & a total attendance of 724!
Here's what Benjamin Voon has to testify!(:
"Last Sunday I invited my friend Humphrey for HPMG.I got to know from other friends about how he lost faith in God because of what other Christians did to him. I was concerned and I prayed for him, hoping that one day he will return to God and know that not all Christians are what he has thought to be.
I did all I could to care and connect with him, to show him that I actually care. I made it a point to spend time with him every day during recess and during our time in recess I shared how God has blessed my life and how good God is to me. I actually did try and persuade him to come back to God but he was reluctant.
But nearing this period when 06.07.08 was coming, I decided to give it a shot by inviting him for this event and I prayed during the altar call that God will speak to Humphrey and that he will respond to it. Praise God, he received Christ once again!"
One of our leaders, Brother Jonathan was in the committee and was really blessed by it just as how he has been a blessing in serving us by working hard to ensure that HMPG was a success.
"060708 was an amazing journey from conception to completion. Being part of the committee for this historic event, I was given the privilege to work with leaders from IGNYTE Ministry from both centres. Despite the initial unfamiliarity with one another, through the course of the planning and preparation the committee shared a common goal one wanting to see God move and propel IGNYTE Ministry to the next level with this event and the unfamiliarity turned to unity.
The awesome “His Purpose, My Generation” wristbands were really a miracle as due to some miscommunication.
In the course of this event, I’ve grown both as a leader and a friend – learning to be task focused yet people oriented, stirring a passion in me to see this generation rise up as leaders of their generation and seeing them bring their friends to know Jesus.
Praise God for his faithfulness and how He has moved so powerfully through this event, taking IGNYTE to another level! "
