Thank you ALL

Hey people,

A few days ago I was asked to take a look at the blog of one of the FTVs who visited Ignyte and joined my buzzgroup with her friend Jiali (Jelly!). I was amazed. Really. You made it happen, Ignyte (: For the glory of God. Thank you ALL for being part of the Ignyte/Trinitarian Experience (:
Check it out!..

"TCC - Mm no, not The Coffee Connoisseur, but Trinity Christian Centre. Thank you to Jiali, Chrisanda and Yanling for constantly encouraging me to go (: “Fuel” (cell group) was definitely enriching, learning about prayer. Though i’m still trying to find out how to distinguish “a message from God” from my own hallucination/little mind at work. Also, thank you to Joanna, Emily, Delise, Amy, Irina, Michel, Sister Jas and more. And yes, the game “I Have Never” was really a good attempt at revealing all my inner most secrets.

“IGYNTE” session was really powerful and I could really relate to what the pastor was preaching. About finding identity & purpose, just like what i mentioned in one of my earlier posts. I went through the emotions of a newcomer at this foreign, yet very homely & warm church, it was good. Not awkward (thankfully) though blush-able ....... Thank you...... for the very warm, genuine and sincere welcome. (:

It was Worship Experience, where we sang, dance, jumped around for almost the entire service. Tiring, but fun and things got really high, the mood was really high and yesss the songs were sang so high but thankfully everyone was singing so loudly that it covered all the times where Jelly’s and my voices died. I re-dedicated my life to God, and it felt like I got to know God all over again.

What made Trinity leave such a lasting impression in my mind was not just Cell and Worship, but also the after-service experience. I was pretty terrified having to get up the bus with a group of Trinity Youths, while holding the newcomer paper bag as it was an open declaration of being a first-timer. I don’t like awkward moments. I could hear murmurs of “Hey that’s Jiali’s friend”, but wells being the shy me, I just smiled at them and put on my earphones. Ipods come in handy when you have absolutely no idea whether to go mix around with new people or be a social outcast. Wells, you still seem pretty alone but it makes your outcast-ness decrease as you prolly look like you’re doing something.......

What made the difference was here: Just one word, BYE. Okay not really Fullstop-ish but an Exclamation mark. Cos each of them said it with such sincerity and enthusiasm it really made me smile. And considering they continued waving bye to me while they were walking and my bus passed them. So, thank you to the green-flowery pretty girl, yellow-top girl, white polo tee guy, dark blue shirt spectacled-guy, and a few more others (: You made a difference to my whole trinity experience (:"
