Yes I know- it's been a while since I wrote. :) Apologise if you missed my posts... but I suspect there are few of you.
Since it's the LAST day of the year, I thought I'll pen some thoughts down. Was reminded when I was sorting through my photos I came across this one that I took on the way back from a camp recee trip. It was a sunset taken from a rear mirror. It's strange how things look different when we see it from another point of view. Even more emotional when we see it from hindsight. Don't we wish we all had hindsight earlier? Looking back - I guess we would have done many things differently this year if we knew what was the outcome.
Yet - it's not a time to wallow in regrets. If history does really repeat itself, then I guess we can all be better prepared the next round. :)
Phil 3:13-14
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Here's a tribute too for the awesome MIT team that challenged me personally:
Have you ever been to an amusement park? Have you ridden on a Viking ride – where the vessel will swing from one end to another – just like a pendulum?
Life can be like a Viking ride – we have our ups and downs. Despite life challenges, God has purposed for us to live a life victoriously. With Him, we can ride and soar on eagles wings!
Are you ready for His ride?

Jesus’ service was not one that is enslaved and weak but His was one that is likened to an abundant spring that overflows with grace & love.
We remember the incident at the well where He took the trouble to cross culture and initiated a conversation with a woman despised by the society. He took time to share with her the kingdom of God.
We remember the soiled towel across His waist, His nails marred with dirt, the basin of murky water.
We remember how he served by giving his very life in place of ours. Service is first an attitude of love and second of a position of considering others before ourselves.
